Advanced Lighting Controls

First time in Canada!

This is an opportunity for qualified electricians to gain a new skill for a growing market.

With proper installation, advanced lighting controls improve energy efficiency in commercial and public buildings, and save significant dollars. Across North America, there’s increasing demand for detailed knowledge of these emerging technologies.

The highest certification available in this field comes through the National Advanced Lighting Control Training Program (NALCTP). The program, developed in California, is open only to Red Seal qualified electricians. E2 Inc is the sole Canadian agent, and has adapted NALCTP for Canadian conditions.

With the support of BC Hydro and the B.C. electrical industry, E2inc is working with B.C. colleges to make NALCTP certification available to qualified electricians starting in early 2017.

In July 2016, BC Hydro has published an online article outlining the benefits of advanced lighting controls and NALCTP training.
